Viyah Portal – Terms & Conditions Agreement

Users: Applicants, Members, Visitors ("you”, "your”)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Viyah Portal, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and applicable laws of Pakistan.

If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older
• You must be legally capable of entering into marriage under Pakistani law, including the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance, 1961
• Providing incorrect or misleading information may lead to account suspension

3. Your Responsibilities

We trust our users to act honestly and respectfully. By using this platform, you agree:

• To provide true and accurate information
• To use the platform only for serious matrimonial purposes
• To communicate respectfully with other members

Please do not:

• Create fake profiles
• Misrepresent your marital status or identity
• Use the platform for fraud, harassment, or inappropriate purposes

• You may be contacted by other members for marriage purposes
• We take reasonable steps to protect your data, in line with the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016.

• Home and living condition verification
• Workplace/business verification

If you choose verification:

• We make reasonable efforts to verify details.

If you do not choose verification:

• You are encouraged to conduct your own checks before making decisions.

6. Payments & Refunds

• Some services are free, while others may be paid
• We aim to keep our policies fair and transparent

Refunds may be considered in genuine cases such as:

• Service issues
• Verification concerns

7. Our Role

Viyah Portal is a facilitation platform that helps people connect for marriage.

• We do not guarantee matches or marriage outcomes
• Final decisions always remain with users and their families
• Marriage validity is governed by applicable laws including the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance, 1961.

8. Safety & Legal Compliance

We expect all users to follow the law and maintain respectful conduct.

In case of misuse (fraud, fake identity, etc.), action may include:

• Account suspension
• Reporting to relevant authorities such as the Federal Investigation Agency

9. Limitation of Responsibility

While we strive to provide a safe and reliable platform:

• We are not responsible for personal decisions made by users
• We cannot guarantee compatibility or outcomes
• Users are encouraged to verify information independently

10. Disputes

Any disputes between users are their personal responsibility.

Any legal matters involving Viyah Portal will fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Lahore.
